1. Design Daily 08

Lost in Space. So, this design daily isn’t the same vector style that I’ve been doing recently but I wanted to do some compositing today and somehow space became a theme, so I ran with it. As much as I’m enjoying doing the vector styled things, I miss this kinda stuff too.

  2. March Madness (Update: No Bueno)

I’ve decided that I’m going to do an animation project for march. Everyday I’m going to animate 1 second of vector animation giving me an entire 30 second video by the end of it. I’m sure some days I’ll do something that’ll look like poop, but I must get at least 10 seconds total of gold.

Look out for it in April :). none of the above. I tried and it was no fun. I found something more fun to do instead :).

  4. “FAGUO // Présentation de la marque // 2012”

    by WeMotion

Apart from doing a great job of storytelling, the design is great, the animation is so, so slick and the colour scheme works really well. I really love stuff like this.

  5. Welcome To The Jungle

Today is my first official day as a Freelance Motion Graphics Designer & Animator in NYC, and I couldn’t be more excited. I was initially set on trying to get a full time job, but when that never worked out as plan, this became my reality. I must say, I was very scared at first due to how uncertain freelance can be, but with confidence in myself and especially with God, my friends and family behind me, I can make it work beautifully. I plan to.

Cheers to new beginnings and amazing things ahead :)

  6. “Euphoria [WIP]”

    by Graham Reid

Euphoria is a mental and emotional condition in which a person experiences intense feelings of well-being, elation, happiness, excitement, and joy. This is the ideal visual representation of this phenomenon.

  7. “GOLEM”

by Patrick Mccue and Tobias Wiesner

This is such a stunning video. This is wonderful abstract storytelling at it’s best. Please watch full HD, fullscreen, uninterrupted.

  8. “Moleskine [WIP]”

    by Graham Reid

This is a quick model that I made and lit today spontaneously and decided that I really like it alot, so much so that I now have multiple ideas about where I can take it. I swear, I am loving Cinema 4D more and more each day.

  9. “HANKOOK TIRE - VENTUS PROMOTION VIDEO”

    by AlfredImageWorks

I walked into work. I sat down at my desk. I opened Vimeo. This is the first video that I played. God am I inspired now. The mix of adrenaline, fast cars with beautiful audio, and motion graphics create a perfect blend of awesome for today’s inspirational post. If this were a full length movie I’d watch it. On repeat.

  10. “Abstract No. 2”

    by Graham Reid

I wanted to finally learn how to composite something in 3D using Cinema 4D, so I did. This tutorial on Nick Campbell’s Greyscale Gorilla site helped me out if you wanna learn how to too.

  11. “Abstract No. 1”

    by Graham Reid

This is an abstract set of styleframes I did using Cinema 4D, just to play around with lighting and materials.
